Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions that we are asked by our guests, so we hope that these help you. If the question you're looking for isn't here, then simply give us a call and we will do our best to answer it for you.

We're booking up quickly this year, so don't leave it too late to book your well-deserved holiday you've been longing for.
To comply with the Government COVID-19 Track and Trace system, we need to know details for all the guests who are on park at any point in time. The service helps trace close, recent contacts of anyone who tests positive for coronavirus and, if necessary, notifies them that they must self-isolate at home to help stop the spread of the virus.

Therefore, you will be asked to provide the names and contact details for each member in your booking party.
We welcome dogs in our pet-friendly accommodation range and on our touring pitches.
A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed.
There is a charge of £30 per dog for short breaks and £40 for 7 nights. The charge is £1.50 per night for touring pitches.
We do not accept dogs listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Your holiday balance will need to paid in full 10 weeks before your holiday start date.
If you book and your holiday date is within 10 weeks, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking
Our holidays are designed for families and couples in mind. Therefore, bookings by persons 21 years of age and under are not accepted, unless they are part of a family booking.
We allocate bookings on the day of arrival, so you will be advised where your accommodation is when you arrive for your holiday. You can put a special request in at the time of booking but we are unable to guarantee this.
When you know what dates you'd like to re-book your holiday for, simply give us as call on 01343 813 262. You can move your holiday to a 2021 or 2022 holiday date.

Remember to have your original booking reference handy, as we'll need this information.
You will receive a pre-arrival email a few days before your holiday and we will call you to confirm your accommodation or pitch number.
When you get to the park simply drive to your accommodation, the door will be unlocked but will have been sealed with a sticker to confirm its cleanliness. On the table you will find a set of sanitised keys.
If you have booked a touring pitch, simply head to your pitch location and set up ready for your holiday.
Check in will be from 4pm at the earliest, we hope to be able to keep to this time, however, we may not be able to do so in some circumstances. Should we be unable to meet the 4pm time we will call you to update you.
You will need to vacate your accommodation and check out by 10am on the day of your departure.
All of our self-catering accommodation will have pillows, duvets and beds made up ready for your arrival based on the number of guests on your booking.
Please don't forget to bring your own towels & tea towels (put a toilet roll or two).
Of course. As long as there is availability you can upgrade your accommodation ans simply pay the difference. All you need to do is call the park and they will be happy to assist with your upgrade.

Always follow the governments advice regards maintaining a safe social distance. We have guidance here and on all doors. Please be mindful to check these.
Yes, charges apply for Wifi.
Face masks are compulsory and a legal requirement in communal indoor settings such as shops, bars and all indoor venues. You must wear a face mask when not sat at a table in the bar/restaurant/entertainment areas.
In certain circumstances yes, they will.
Each unit will have been fully cleaned by a member of our team utilising a sanitiser that has been proven to effectively work against the various strains of the coronavirus. New protocols have been put in place to ensure that all touchpoints and surfaces within the accommodation are effectively cleaned prior to your arrival. All linen will have been washed at temperatures above 60 degrees.
The main reception number will be manned during office hours and a security mobile number will be available for out of hours. These numbers can be found on the pre-arrival email that we will send to you before you arrive.
We will provide bars of soap in all accommodation. The government guidelines recommend cleaning your hands with hot water and soap for 20 seconds on regular intervals. Our bathrooms will have soap topped up regularly, and entrances to all buildings will have hand gel dispensers.
We are following all guidance provided by the Government and have introduced a number of steps along with our industry bodies and Health and Safety advisors. These include but are not limited to: Sneeze Guards, suitable personal protective equipment for our team members, hand sanitising stations, floor markings, reduced capacity and safe working practices.
You should make your way home, if safe to do so, and call our team on the main reception. If possible, you should have the details of anyone you have come in to contact with during your visit to the park. The new track and trace system will require this information. If it is a member of our team, we would make them aware. If you can’t make your way home please call us to discuss.
Yes, you can.
All sessions will need to be pre-booked. You can do this via the Park App, so make sure you download it on your phone before your holiday.
There's lots of useful park information on the app, such as an entertainment schedule for the week and much more!
There is no charge to use the gym.
The gym is open 9am - 5pm
No smoking is allowed in any accommodation.
Lossiemouth is a 2 minute drive from the park. Inverness is 44 miles away.
If you fancy trying to spot Nessie, Loch Ness is 1.5 hours away or for some great walking trails we'd recommend Cairngorns National Park
We are opposite one of the RAF's largest bases and you can watch the jets taking off and performing amazing manoeuvres over the sea. There are normally 3 flights a day, none at night time.
The best time to see the dolphins is from low tide for a few hours at the following locations:
Chanonry Point (postcode IV10 8SD)
Carnac Point (postcode IV3 8AL)
or along the coast from Nairn towards Burghead
The lighthouse is a local attraction owned by the Lossiemouth community. The lighthouse is open for tours. Visit for more information
Yes we do, however, they must be raised off the grass with no damage to the grass. Please be aware of your surroundings and the safety risks.
